Three academics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura were selected and successfully participated in the Seminar on the Standardization of China’s Electromechanical Products, held from 14th to 28th April 2026 in China.
The participants were Mr. R. Y. Sampath and Dr. S. S. G. C. Siriwardana from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Mr. P. N. M. Kumara from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The programme, facilitated through the Department of External Resources, provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange on modern electromechanical product standards, industrial practices, and emerging technological advancements. The participants, who are actively engaged in teaching, research, and applied engineering practices, contributed meaningfully to the programme through their academic and professional expertise.
