Prof. Yen-Ling Lin from the Department of Economics, Tamkang University, Taiwan, accompanied by 17 students, visited the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and participated in a discussion held at the Center for Sustainability (CFS). The discussion was attended by academic staff from the Faculty of Urban and Aquatic Bioresources (FUAB) and the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS), and focused on exploring potential areas of academic collaboration between Tamkang University and USJ.
Opportunities for joint research, student and staff exchanges, academic programmes, and other collaborative initiatives were discussed, with both parties expressing interest in strengthening institutional linkages and exploring avenues for future cooperation
