The Director, Dr. Ruwini Prasadini Dharmawardene of the International Affairs Division in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura recently represented the University at the Seminar sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. The seminar was held at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China in order to widen the international collaboration with Young and Middle-aged diplomats in 15 developing countries while increasing the participants’ awareness in China’s foreign policy, security policy, strategic studies, and international relations in the Asia-Pacific region. As an outcome of this meeting, student/staff exchange programme is in progress in Business Economics between UIBE and the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at USJ.
