Phase I: Internal Approval
- Draft the Document
Collaborate with the partner organization to draft the MoU, outlining the objectives, responsibilities, and terms of the partnership.
- Obtain Legal Division Approval
Submit the draft MoU to your respective Faculty Board for review and recommendation. It must subsequently be approved by the legal division. - Obtain Faculty and Senate Approval
After receiving approval by the legal division, the MoU has to be reviewed and approved by the Senate and the USJ Council. - Prepare the Required Documents
Once USJ Council approval is secured, the initiating staff member must compile a documentation package:
The complete, Council-approved draft MoU/Agreement
- A copy of the Council decision extract
- Duly filled justification format, rationale template and new/renewal checklists
- (For renewals) A certified copy of the previous MoU
