On last 26th November 2024, a delegation from Chuvash State Pedagogical University led by Ms. Svetlana Viktorovna Ilyina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Ms. Elena Gennadievna Khrisanova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy visited the Department of Pali ad Buddhist Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The visitors were welcomed by Venerable Prof. Elamaldeniye Sarananda Thero, Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies and Dr. Ruwini Dharmawardene, Director of the International Affairs Division. The discussion was based on possible avenues for Russian Language development and opportunities for the improvement of the tourism subject discipline. Mrs. Wathsala Madhuwanthi, Lecturer in Russian Language coordinated the visit along with the International Affairs Division.
